Workshops
Time and Location
Workshops are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at 6208 Quinpool Road, 2nd Flloor, Halifax, Nova Scotia, unless otherwise indicated.

Registration
Registration for workshops is only accepted with a payment. Write down the date and title of the workshop(s) you wish to attend and forward with payment to NSCE.
- You can register by mail or in person at 6208 Quinpool Road, 2nd Floor, Halifax, NS, B3L 1A3, Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (extended hours on Tuesdays until 9:00 pm).
- The College will accept in-person debit, Visa or Mastercard payments in addition to cash or cheque.
- You will be notified if your workshop is full or is cancelled for any reason.
Fees
Workshop fees are $35.00 including HST unless otherwise indicated. Resource Centre individual members continue to receive a $5.00 workshop discount; organization members receive two workshop vouchers.
- Workshop fees are non-refundable.
- Replacement of workshop certificates is $10.00.
- A $25 fee will be charged for NSF cheques.
Cancellations
A workshop may be cancelled by NSCECE if there is insufficient registration or school cancellations due to weather conditions. All efforts will be made to contact all registered participants regarding cancellations. A cancellation notice will also be placed on the home page of our web site. In the event of a cancelled workshop, the College will attempt to re-schedule or credit participants with a workshop voucher for another workshop.
Workshops are nonrefundable. Cancellations prior to 4:00 pm on the Friday preceding a workshop will be issued a workshop voucher redeemable within one-year. Cancellations after this time will not be eligible for a workshop voucher. Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation and therefore a voucher will not be issued.
Waiting Lists
Waiting lists are maintained in a first-come/first-serve sequence for all filled workshops. No payments are necessary to reserve a space on the waiting list.
