About Akerley Centre

Welcome to Akerley Child Care Centre

Akerley Child Care Centre is a non-profit child care centre located in the Akerley campus of the Nova Scotia Community College in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are a demonstration school for students who are enrolled at the Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education. We believe in providing families with high quality child care for their children and in doing so, we support children in their growth and development. Akerley Child Care Centre offers programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

We are open year round.
