    At Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education, we provide an opportunity for students to study and gain experience in Early Childhood Education trhough a diverse range of courses and practicial settings.

    • Graduates are eligible for a government funded NS student loan reimbursement of $10,000.
    • 95% of our graduates find Early Childhood employment within four months of graduation.
    • NSCECE has a Resource Centre for student use, and three Lab Schools for practicum experience.
    • NSCECE offers flexible study: full-time, part-time, independent study and PLAR.

    What Does An Early Childhood Educator Do?

    • Provide a high standard of quality care to children and their families.
    • Create enriched learning envirnments for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
    • Qualified graduates gain employment in a variety of settings including child care centres, schools, family resource centers, private homes, educational program assistants in public schools, or as owner/operators of child care facilities.
