NSCECE Mission
At Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education, we provide an opportunity for students to study and gain experience in Early Childhood Education trhough a diverse range of courses and practicial settings.

- NSCECE has 40 years’ experience preparing students to challenge and inspire young minds.
- Graduates are eligible for a government funded NS student loan reimbursement of $10,000.
- 95% of our graduates find Early Childhood employment within four months of graduation.
- NSCECE has a Resource Centre for student use, and three Lab Schools for practicum experience.
- NSCECE offers flexible study: full-time, part-time, independent study and PLAR.

What Does An Early Childhood Educator Do?
- Provide a high standard of quality care to children and their families.
- Create enriched learning envirnments for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
- Qualified graduates gain employment in a variety of settings including child care centres, schools, family resource centers, private homes, educational program assistants in public schools, or as owner/operators of child care facilities.
