About NSCECE

Start dates

NSCECE provides a two-year recognized Diploma in Early Childhood Education that is licensed by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and approved by the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services. It can be taken on a full-time or part-time basis. Financial Assistance is available.

A Career That Makes A Difference

ECE graduates are professional educators of young children. Students are trained to children from birth to age 12 in full or half-day child care centres, schools, famiy resource centres and/or social service agencies, private homes, educational program assistants in public schools, or as owner/operators of child care facilities.

Currently 100% of our graduates, who seek employment in the field, find employment after graduation.
